The rank flags are the same for Army (Hæren) and Air Force (Flyvevåbnet) but different for Navy (Søværnet). Those have the darker Orlogsørd as basic tincture.

It is a split flag with white six-pointed stars, two in the first quarter and one in the third. The basic colour is Dannebrogsrød.
